Hansen Transmissions were introduced in South Africa in 1969 and do we have a proven track record of 42 years. We were the third company in SA to obtain the SABS ISO 9001(2002 Vers) in 1984 (SABS 0003) In 1998 we received the Conveyor Manufacturing Association's 'SILVER JUBILEE AWARD' for Product Excellence in recognition of the innovative efficient versatile local design and development of the Hansen Invertible Gear Unit. In 2009 Hansen Transmissions was awarded the Frost & Sullivan "Market Leadership Award for SA Helical Gearboxes". In 2011 Sumitomo Heavy Industries has acquired Hansen Gearbox Manufacturer Group worldwide. Hansen Transmissions will carry on with business as usual
