M2North is an independent trading network. The organisations are named because they send purchase orders through M2North; M2North is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

Where South African retailers’ orders reach their suppliers.

Shoprite Checkers, Pick n Pay, Cashbuild, Makro, Game, Builders and Leroy Merlin send purchase orders to their suppliers through the M2North network, and so do large buyers beyond retail, such as Impala Platinum. Suppliers connect once, then receive orders and send invoices to all of them, from their own ERP or from a browser.

One connection, every retailer

Most EDI set-ups are built one retailer at a time. On M2North, the retailers are already connected.

No integration per retailer

Connect your business to M2North once, and each new retail customer on the network is a setting, not a project.

Any system, or none

Work in a browser, or connect SAP, Sage, SYSPRO, Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho and other systems in the format they use.

The whole document trail

Orders, delivery notes, invoices, remittances and statements travel on the same network, so each one can be traced to the others.

Questions suppliers ask

Which South African retailers send purchase orders through M2North?

Shoprite Checkers, Usave, Pick n Pay, Boxer, Cashbuild, Makro, Game, Builders and Leroy Merlin are among the retailers that send purchase orders to their suppliers through M2North. Beyond retail, so does Impala Platinum. The network page lists more of the organisations trading on it.

What is EDI, and do I need it to supply these retailers?

EDI, electronic data interchange, is how retailers and suppliers exchange orders and invoices as data instead of paper or email. On M2North you do not need your own EDI software: you can work in a browser, or connect your ERP and let M2North handle the formats.

Do I need a separate connection for each retailer?

No. One M2North connection reaches every retailer on the network, so adding a retail customer does not mean building a new integration.

Which ERP systems does M2North work with?

SAP, Sage, SYSPRO, Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho and other systems, in the format each one uses, including EDI, XML, CSV and PDF.
